Corporation for National and Community Service

The Corporation for National and Community Service's Social Innovation Fund provides funding to "intermediary" grant-making institutions, who in turn make grants to community-based organizations. This year's focus areas are:
The Corporation for National and Community Service will award September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance grants to organizations whose service activities meet vital community needs and honor the sacrifice of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and those who served our nation in that day's aftermath. This year, priority will go to projects focused on the following:
AmeriCorps funds projects that use AmeriCorps volunteers to strengthen communities. Programs are encouraged to promote one of the Corporation for National and Community Service's six focus areas: Disaster services Economic opportunity Education Environmental stewardship Healthy futures Veterans and military families Application guidelines
