The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

This Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration program provides treatment and related services to youth who are in teen court programs and have substance abuse problems. The program aims to reduce substance use and criminal activity, improve health and quality of life, and increase productivity.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment will fund programs that offer substance abuse treatment and related services to adults 18 and older who are returning to the community after being in prison. View the announcement on Grants.gov. 
Through the Drug Free Communities Mentoring Program, existing Drug Free Communities grantees can receive funding to help new coalitions become eligible for the Drug Free Communities Program.  Read the request for applications.
The Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking, or STOP, Act grants program aims to prevent and reduce alcohol use among 12- to 20-year-olds. About 78 grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded.
