Positive Youth Development

The Foundation for Youth Investment's Impact Fund is accepting applications from California nonprofits that provide outdoor experiences for underserved youth. The current round of funding is open to organizations whose annual operating budgets are more than $250,000.
The Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is accepting applications from organizations and institutions interested in helping to run its National Intertribal Youth Leadership Summit and related leadership development opportunities for Native youth.
For youth worker Matt Tennant, opening a nonprofit bike shop seemed like an ideal way to combine two passions. After years of doing street outreach in Minneapolis, Tennant opened Full Cycle in 2008 to connect homeless young people to the many benefits of owning and fixing bikes.

Positive Exposures, a Washington nonprofit that creates free documentary slideshows, videos and other media for charities, is accepting applications. The organization aims to help good causes raise awareness, expand their message and increase funding by developing compelling media campaigns.
Apply now or nominate someone to become a part of the Leadership & Sustainability Institute’s 2013-2014 Black Male Achievement Social Innovation Accelerator. Participants will receive capacity-building support for their organizations, as well as leadership coaching and training.
