The Safeway Foundation is accepting applications to strengthen hunger relief, education, health and human services, and disability assistance for communities served by their stores (Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Carrs, or Albertsons). Grants typically range from $1,000 to $10,000 based on location, although nonprofit organizations serving a large area may receive up to $25,000. Applications are reviewed quarterly.
