Spark is accepting applications from grassroots women’s organizations that address the needs of women and girls in the New York or San Francisco metropolitan areas. Successful applicants are business start-ups or new organizations with entrepreneurial ideas that can use awards of $1,000 to $5,000 to "spark" their continued success. Applicant organizations must be founded and led by women, with women filling 50% or more of management positions. In addition to applying for grants, organizations can request pro bono services from Spark members in areas such as accounting, legal services, and marketing.
