Literature Database

The National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth (NCFY) abstinence literature database contains abstracts, or summaries, of publications and curricula related to abstinence, as well as other healthy lifestyle choices and the benefits of marriage.

NCFY maintains a Reading Room which houses the publications in our collection for those interested in reviewing materials in the Clearinghouse collection.

The Reading Room is located at:

5515 Security Lane, Suite 6008
Rockville, MD  20852
Open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While guests are always invited to the Reading Room during open hours, please e-mail us at ncfy@acf.hhs.gov or call us at 301-608-8098 before visiting to ensure that staff will be available to assist you.

Alternatively, information on obtaining a publication, either through ordering from the publisher’s website or through downloading (in the case that a publication is public domain), is generally included in the abstract.

NCFY-produced publications are available here.
