A Mentor Is a Hero in the Life of a Child
Spending time with a child may seem like an ordinary thing to do. But mentors make an extraordinary difference in the lives of young people. To their mentees, they’re heroes.
Many more adults are needed to become positive role models to young people in at-risk situations. In honor of National Mentoring Month this January, mentoring programs can bring attention to the good work they do and encourage more adults to become mentors. Here’s how:
