Banner for the National Clearinghouse on Families and Youth.

Dear NCFY Friends,

We’re thrilled to announce that we have a new logo at NCFY: a dandelion. We chose this hardy flower to represent growth, dissemination, possibility and resilience, concepts we value and ideals we try to foster among organizations that serve families and youth.

Did you know…?

  • The dandelion is one of the hardiest plants in the world.
  • Dandelions spread further and grow under more adverse circumstances than most other plants.
  • Every part of the dandelion is useful.

Over the next several months, we’ll introduce the logo across our free publications and products—starting with our Web site, ncfy.acf.hhs.gov. We’ll also begin regularly posting fresh content on the site, including new podcasts, tips, tools and resources tailored to meet your needs. If you don’t already receive our Youth Initiatives Update monthly e-newsletter, subscribe here to make sure you don’t miss a single thing.

NCFY is committed to providing you the same great free resources and services as always. Just call (301) 608-8098 or e-mail ncfy@acf.hhs.gov. And while you’re at it, let us know how you think we’re doing.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Rich
Director, NCFY
