The National Runaway Safeline has added confidential live chat to the ways it helps teens who have run away or are thinking about running away. Teens in crisis can go to www.1800runaway.org and click on the “Get Help Live Chat” button. Or they can call 1-800-RUNAWAY.

teens with a friend who has run and is looking for help
runaway youth ready to go home through the Home Free bus-ticket program
parents worried their teen might run or looking for a teen who’s left home
teachers looking for information to pass along to students about alternatives to running from home
