The Youth Connections Community of Practice (CoP) is a forum for practitioners in the youth employment field to discuss and share promising practices and technical assistance, and to network. Youth Connections works to provide opportunities for lifelong learning and skill enhancement for all youth, especially those who have dropped out of school or face other obstacles to employment.
Youth Connections is hosted by the Division of Youth Services in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration and is the only CoP explicitly designed for professionals involved in youth workforce development issues. The Division of Youth Services collaborates with federal, state, and local partners to help all youth get the academic, technical, and work-readiness skills to prepare for adulthood, employment careers, and postsecondary education and training.
