June Is Pride Month, a Good Time to Help Families Support Their LGBTQ Teens

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning communities. Throughout the month, we'll be sharing summaries of new research on the issues LGBTQ youth face and how best social service agencies can help them.

One thing research has taught us is that LGTBQ young people experience better outcomes, such as fewer mental health problems and lower risk for suicide, when their families accept and support them. Here are some resources you can share with families of LGBTQ youth:
