Father’s Day is a great time to honor exceptional dads. It’s also an opportunity to bring awareness and resources to fathers (both young and older) who may need guidance, support and help developing parenting skills. Across the country communities, local and federal agencies, and individual organizations use Father’s Day as springboard for bringing the community together to support fathers.
Here are some places you can get tools and advice on celebrating and strengthening the dads you work with:
Join the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s fifth annual National Father’s Day. On the HUD website, you can register your organization, download marketing tools, and explore videos and resources to prepare for the big day.
Find fatherhood programs and resources for parents on the National Fatherhood Initiative website. Learn how to start a fatherhood initiative in your own community.
