Nominate Your Incredible Volunteers, and We'll Give Them a Virtual 'Shout Out'

Volunteers working in a community garden.

We’re launching our third annual Thank-a-Volunteer Campaign today, in honor of National Volunteer Week hosted by Points of Light.

Here’s how it works: You nominate a volunteer. We’ll choose from among the nominees and feature outstanding stories on our website and social media feeds.

You can nominate up to three people, ages 18 and up, who have volunteered for your organization in the past year and were not entered in last year’s campaign. Send us their name (first name and last initial only) and a brief write-up of what they have done to support your organization’s mission. Don't forget to include any information that shows how your nominee has gone above and beyond!

Send the completed nomination by April 25 in one of these ways:

  1. Emailing
  2. Following us on Twitter and tweeting a message to @ncfy
  3. Liking us on Facebook and commenting on a post about our Thank-a-Volunteer Campaign
  4. Clicking the live chat button at the top of this page

We’ll be accepting nominations from any organizations that work directly with young people or families. We’d especially love to hear from organizations that receive funding from the Family and Youth Services Bureau.
