A Guide to Starting a Youth Program
This new guide from NCFY is for you if you dream of starting your own nonprofit organization to give young people in your community better opportunities. There are many resources that can help you navigate how to start and manage a nonprofit organization that serves youth and their families. Rather than duplicate information that's already out there, this guide attempts to put you on the right track by guiding you to Web sites written just for grassroots organizers and youth service professionals.
Mentoring Outcomes for Children and Youth Literature Search and Annotated Bibliography
This annotated bibliography from NCFY focuses on studies that (1) discuss one-on-one mentoring programs for children and youth, (2) include an assessment or evaluation component, (3) relate mentoring to specific outcomes, and (4) describe evidence-based practices. Research listed here was published between 2000 and the present.
