The National Domestic Violence Hotline and Liz Claiborne Inc. announced the launch of loveisrespect.org the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline (NTDAH), a 24-hour national Web-based and telephone helpline created to help youth (ages 13-18) experiencing dating abuse. Any time of the day or night, youth can talk one-on-one with trained advocates who can offer support and connect them to resources. Call toll free 1-866-331-9474 or TTY 1-866-331-8453. A one-on-one live chat is also available from 4 p.m.-midnight central standard time, 7 days a week. No names. No judging. Only help – anytime young people need it.
