Encourage Youth to Enter FYSB’s First Essay Contest and Share Their Stories
Every young person deserves an opportunity to share his or her story. Help your youth do that by encouraging them to enter FYSB’s first ever national essay contest for young writers. The winner’s story will be shared online and at a national conference for youth workers. Runners up may have their essays published online, too.

What Can FYSB’s Network of Support for Runaway and Homeless Youth Do for You?
The Family and Youth Services Bureau funds hundreds of programs that aid runaway and homeless youth. It also provides a network of support services: a national hotline for runaway youth, a training and technical assistance center, and us—the National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth. Recently, several FYSB grantees and members of the network worked together to help a young man cross borders and get back home.
