Due Date: February 6, 2012

The Office of Citizen Exchanges in the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is holding an open competition for its Empowering Women and Girls Through Sport Program. The program, part of the International Sports Programming Initiative, will fund approximately 12 short-term U.S.-based and overseas programs focused on using sport as a tool for women's empowerment. The program envisions approximately 115 participants from overseas coming to the United States, and approximately 20 American participants traveling overseas. read more>>

 

Due Date: March 2, 2012

The goal of this demonstration project will be to increase the employability of former offenders in technology careers. Grantees will launch programs to train incarcerated adults and youth during the three years before their release from prison, jail or a juvenile facility.
